About MGS Contracting
Our Story
The company was founded in 2010 by two experienced GC and Drywall industry veterans. The Founders vowed to create a company that will be rooted in high value system of integrity, honesty, loyalty and collaboration to deliver the best product and service in the Atlanta market. Over the years, the company has developed strong relationship with our clients, vendors and employees, which are a cornerstone to our success.
MGS Contracting Inc. is an Employee-Owned Company. Many of our employees have been with the company from our launch or shortly thereafter. The Founders keep leading the company’s daily operation and are focused on fulfilling our mission.
The company achieved success in growth over the years through controlled and planned expansions. Our leadership is determined to maintain the culture and DNA of the company thus emphasizing our unique value proposition.
Our Development
Over the first few years of MSG Contracting Inc., we grew in multiples as we established our position in the market. Our growth rate was carefully planned and executed to ensure we never fail our customers and mission.
Over the years, our field leadership team developed and gained experience in larger and more complex projects. Our team of Superintendents can execute multiple large projects concurrently. Each one of them has a team of leadmen and safety manager. While these teams are working on large projects, we still have teams that deliver smaller type projects as we are committed to being a full-service provider for our clients.
As a team, we strive to improve each day. To that end, we are exploring new technologies and materials on a regular basis with our vendor partnerships. Our team adopted BIM and VDC capabilities as well as other coordination aspects necessary. We are also sharing lessons learned from our previous orojects on weekly basis between team members.
Safety
At MGS Contracting Inc., safety is one of our measures for success. We maintain a very strict and tight safety program that exceeds OSHA requirements.
Our field leadership teams are OSHA certified and are regularly trained. We have a clean OSHA track record and are working hard to minimize incidents on site. We share safety lessons, highlights and near misses with all our leadership team regularly.
Projects
Over the years, the size and complexity of our projects has grown significantly along with the company. We service both new construction as well as renovations, and have executed many specialty projects including high level finishes as well as specialty ceilings. MGS Contracting Inc. is serving North Georgia +/- 60 miles from Downtown Atlanta.
